Sessions Review
Following in the footsteps of the Dave Matthews Band and John Mayer, Boston-born Adam Ezra crafts a small gem of an acoustic rock album focused on his hook-rich songwriting and funky, folk-rocking arrangements.
Ezra can write an indelible song from basic folk and classic-rock material; check out ``Lonely Mile,'' and then just try to get the melody out of your head.
His highly personal lyrics occasionally degenerate into diary entries, and he needs to distance himself from his influences. That said, "Sessions" shows loads of promise.

Adam Ezra's music has been featured on MTV's "The Real World" (one of my guilty pleasures) and on "Driven." So why haven't you heard of him and his new band? Well my friends I'd have to say you are looking for new music in all the wrong places. The Adam Ezra band is super fine acoustic rock that proves why Boston rocks! This CD is a mixture of both live and studio performances so you get the best of both worlds and they slip and slide through the world of acoustic ballads …"California," "Touchdown," and "Caveman" were my personal favorites. Adam Ezra Group is definitely on my radar for 2004.
